Job Summary

Participate with leaders from the medical staff, management, and clinical areas in planning, prioritizing, promoting, and conducting organization-wide performance assessment and improvement activities.
Develop and implement Novant Health's plan for providing patient care consistent with the health system's mission, vision, and values. Collaborate with all pertinent organizational leaders and manages interdependencies across divisions to design and provide patient care and services including development of patient care programs, establishment of standards of practice, standards of patient care, and policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Education: Medical Doctor, required. Current medical license in appropriate state required.
  • Experience: Minimum of ten years of experience as a physician leader, required.
  • Additional Skills (required): Physician governance, negotiation, conflict resolution, dashboard analysis, oral presentation and writing skills
