Physician - Family Practice

We are seeking a skilled Family Practice Physician for a locum tenens position at a healthcare facility in Oklahoma. This assignment offers flexible duration options of 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year, starting on 06/09/2025, with a full-time schedule Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing a panel of primary care patients, focusing on chronic conditions such as hypertension and diabetes. This role provides an opportunity to work in a well-equipped facility with on-site lab, X-ray, imaging, and pharmacy services. Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages

• Manage a panel of patients with various chronic conditions

• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, with a focus on hypertension and diabetes

• Conduct routine check-ups, screenings, and preventive care visits

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

• Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare providers

• Utilize on-site lab, X-ray, imaging, and pharmacy services as needed

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using RPMS EHR system

• Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and safety protocols

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and care coordination efforts

• Stay updated on the latest advancements in family medicine

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams

Additional Information:

• Must be board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

• Any state license will be accepted

• Experience with RPMS electronic health record system preferred

• Strong expertise in managing chronic conditions and panel-based care

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication skills for patient education and care coordination
