Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Family Practice Physician for a locum tenens position at a healthcare facility in Oklahoma. This assignment offers flexible duration options of 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year, starting on 06/09/2025, with a full-time schedule Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing a panel of primary care patients, focusing on chronic conditions such as hypertension and diabetes. This role provides an opportunity to work in a well-equipped facility with on-site lab, X-ray, imaging, and pharmacy services. The physician will be responsible for delivering comprehensive family medicine care, managing chronic conditions, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages
• Manage a panel of patients with various chronic conditions
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, with a focus on hypertension and diabetes
• Conduct routine check-ups, screenings, and preventive care visits
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare providers
• Utilize on-site lab, X-ray, imaging, and pharmacy services as needed
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using RPMS EHR system
• Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and safety protocols
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and care coordination efforts
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in family medicine
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Additional Information:
• Must be board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Any state license will be accepted
• Experience with RPMS electronic health record system preferred
• Strong expertise in managing chronic conditions and panel-based care
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills for patient education and care coordination
• Flexibility to commit to various assignment durations (3 months, 6 months, or 1 year)
• Possibility of assignment extension beyond the initial duration
