Locums Primary Care Opportunity – Fairfield, New Jersey

Join a thriving private practice in northern New Jersey. We’re seeking a dedicated Board-Certified Primary Care Physician for a locum tenens role in Fairfield, with occasional coverage at a nearby East Rutherford location. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive, well-established outpatient setting.

Assignment Details:

• Start Date: ASAP – Ongoing

• Schedule: 4.5 days per week, including 2 Saturdays per month

• Practice Setting: Outpatient private practice

• Patient Volume: 20–30 patients per day

• EMR: AthenaHealth (experience highly preferred)

• Practice Size: 2 physicians

• No supervisory responsibilities

Location Notes:

• Primary location in Fairfield, NJ

• May be asked to cover East Rutherford location on rare occasions

• Flexibility is important

Clinical Requirements:

• General: EKG interpretation, minor suturing, incision & drainage

• Occupational Medicine: Employment physicals, disability exams, and management of common workplace medical issues

Candidate Requirements:

• Board Certified in Primary Care

• Active New Jersey medical license

• BLS certification

• Recent outpatient experience in New Jersey highly preferred

• Local candidates only
