Facility in Coal Center, PA seeking Family Medicine locums coverage

Rates: 170/hr

Facility is seeking a Family Medicine physician for a full-time position starting in January 2025. The role is clinic-based, seeing a variety of patients of all ages in a freestanding healthcare center. The assignment is for four months, with the potential for extension beyond May 2025.

Start Date:

January 13, 2025

End Date:

May 2, 2025 (Potential for extension)

Schedule:

Monday - Thursday: 8 am - 4 pm

Friday: 8 am - 3 pm

No Call

Up to 18 patients per day:

9 patients in the morning session

9 patients in the afternoon session

12:00 pm - 1:00 pm lunch break (30 min lunch and 30 min paperwork)

Setting:

Freestanding clinic

APP Mid-level coverage available from 8 am - 4 pm

Duties:

Wellness visits

Physicals

Well-child visits

Sick visits

ER follow-ups

Hospital follow-ups

Pre-op visits

Requirements:

Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine

ACLS/BLS Certified – Required

DEA License – Required

Pennsylvania License preferred, but will accept IMLC candidates

Experience: Will consider candidates just out of training

No call and no hospital rounds

Patient Demographics:

Adults: 89%

Pediatrics: 11%
