Position Overview:
We are seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join our independent primary care practice in Bangor, ME. This role offers a predictable schedule, no call responsibilities, and the ability to focus on quality patient care over volume.
What to Expect:
📆 Flexible Schedule Options: Standard Monday - Friday (8 AM - 5:30 PM) or 4x10-hour shifts available. (Last appointment at 4:40 PM.)
🖥 EMR System: NextGen
🚑 No Call Responsibilities
👥 Patient Load:
- 12-15 patients per day
- 30-minute standard visits
- 1-hour Annual Wellness Visits
- Complex patients seen 6-8 times per year
🏥 Patient Demographics: Primarily seniors, some pediatric cases
🏢 Independent Practice (not hospital-affiliated)
🔄 Referral System: Utilizes Anthem PicassoMD for referrals
🩺 Lab & Urgent Care Support: - Partnership with LabCorp
- Urgent Care Center conveniently located next door
Compensation & Benefits:
💵 Salary: $230,000 - $250,000 + 10% Bonus

Qualifications:
✔️ MD/DO with active & clear medical license in the state of practice
✔️ Board-Certified in Family Medicine (FM) or Internal Medicine (IM)
✔️ Active DEA License
✔️ Clinical experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or ambulatory care settings
