The Health Center Association of Nebraska (HCAN) is actively recruiting a Family Medicine Physician to join our Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Grand Island, Nebraska, where you will provide high-quality, patient-centered health care for all. Utilizing an integrated care approach, our providers work collaboratively to address all aspects of patients’ health and believe that exceptional, compassionate care should be accessible and affordable for all. Medical, dental, behavioral health, and outreach services are coordinated to ensure well-rounded, comprehensive care.

Your Role:
- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients (take patient history, provide diagnosis, prescribe treatment)
- Administer vaccinations and perform follow-up examinations
- Educate patients in disease prevention and health maintenance
- Train future family medicine physicians to deliver quality health services to patients from a wide variety of cultural, ethnic, and economic backgrounds
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve health outcomes
- Provide professional supervision for Physician Assistants
- Serve in rotation for after-hours call system
What We Are Looking For:
- Graduate of an accredited school of medicine with an unrestricted license as a physician in the state of Nebraska
- Board-certified in a primary care specialty
- Demonstrated professional commitment to providing services to medically under-served individuals
- Ability to foster strong patient-provider relationships
- Ability to effectively communicate both spoken and in writing
