Position Overview:
We are recruiting for full-time, permanent Family Physician. The physician will be responsible for managing patient care in either inpatient or outpatient settings, with duties tailored to the specific specialty. These positions offer stability, professional growth, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care to patients within your specialty (inpatient and/or outpatient).
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including taking medical histories, performing physical exams, and ordering diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient conditions and needs.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and preventative measures.
- Participate in team-based care approaches, including consulting with specialists when necessary.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, infection control measures, and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in your respective specialty.
- Active Medical License in the state (or in process).
- 0-5 years of experience in your specialty, with a focus on direct patient care in inpatient or outpatient settings.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Comfortable working independently and handling complex clinical cases.
- Clean malpractice history and no significant disciplinary actions.
- Proficient with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to healthcare.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle challenging situations effectively.
