General Summary:
We are seeking a Board-Certified Family Physician with Obstetrics and teaching experience to join the core faculty of our new Family Medicine Residency in Chambersburg, PA. This is a unique opportunity to help build the OB model for the residency program from the ground up, supported by an integrated health system with two established FM residencies.
As core faculty, you'll divide your time between supervising residents, advising and mentoring, administrative work for the program's growth, and managing your own patient panel. Ongoing opportunities for faculty development through mentoring and conferences are available.
Position Highlights:
Lead the design and development of the Obstetrics model within the residency
Be part of establishing an unopposed 6-6-6 residency program with the first class starting in 2025
Develop high-quality educational curriculum and experiential rotations in line with ACGME requirements
ACGME initial accreditation received, with Program Director and Associate Program Director already in place
Participate in resident interviews, selection, evaluation, and mentoring
Opportunities for community involvement
Board Certification in Family Medicine (ABFM or AOBFM) required
Obstetrics is a required component of this role
