We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to provide locum tenens coverage at a free-standing healthcare clinic in Coal Center, PA. This position is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated physician looking for a consistent weekday schedule with no on-call responsibilities. As a Locums Family Medicine Physician, you will provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages in a primary care setting. Your duties will include performing annual wellness visits, physicals, well-child visits, sick visits, emergency room follow-ups, hospital follow-ups, and pre-operative evaluations. You will develop personalized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient needs while ensuring accurate and thorough documentation in the clinic’s electronic medical record system. Additionally, you will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated and high-quality patient care. Your role will be integral to maintaining the health and well-being of the local community.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • Daily patient load: Up to 18 patients (9 in the morning, 9 in the afternoon)
  • Break from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM (30 minutes for lunch and 30 minutes for paperwork)
  • 4-5 days per week required

Requirements:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
  • Active Pennsylvania medical license.
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to manage a diverse patient population independently.
  • Experience in a primary care setting is highly preferred.
