Job Summary:

Methodist Healthcare System with Atascosa Health Center, Inc., is seeking a family medicine physician to join their practice. Atascosa Health is a successful FQHC offering our patients services across 5 counties at our 7 locations uniquely located to serve Atascosa (45 minutes south of San Antonio, Texas) and surrounding counties.

Job Details:
  • Multi-specialty practice consists of 4 physicians, 1 PAs and 12 NPs
  • Work hours are Monday-Friday
  • Currently seeing 20 to 24 patients per day
  • All demographics - more adults vs. peds
  • No hospital call – RN after hours call service is taken by NP's
  • 7 locations
  • Provide supervision of up to 4 mid-level providers
  • NextGen EMR system
  • Replacement opportunity
  • Salary commensurate with experience

Qualified Candidates:
  • Must be board-eligible or board-certified in Family Medicine/Internal Medicine
  • Must have a Texas license or the ability to get a Texas license before starting
