Locum Family Practice MD/DO needed in Box Elder, MT (Near Havre, MT)
This is for an Indian Health Service facility - THEY REQUIRE A MONTANA LICENSE TO PRACTICE
Top Hourly + All Travel Expenses
Credentialing: 2-3 weeks - very easy
Start: April 15, 2025
End: July 25, 2025
LOA: 3 or 6 month assignment with potential to extend longer
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8-5 PM
No overtime unless prior approved for patient care only (no overtime for documentation) providers need to complete charting same day or with patient to ensure provider is not getting behind with charting
Patient Volume: Average of 12-14 patients a day (MIN. of 12 PPD)
Procedures: Bread and butter Primary Care, must be comfortable seeing all ages, and treating hypertension, diabetes management, and chronic care
Urgent Care + Primary Care setting mostly
One day a week doing follows up with Chronic Care patients
Helping with Opioid awareness
EMR: RPMS
License: MT license REQUIRED (enrolled with MT Medicaid and Medicare)
Certifications: DEA, ACLS/BLS - BC/BE Required
Relevant Exp/Skill Set: Comfortable working in rural areas, or experience working with Indian Health facilities
