Momentum Healthcare Staffing is actively seeking a qualified MD/DO Family Practice physician for a locum assignment in Vashon, WA. Position: Locum MD/DO Family Practice Physician
Location: Vashon, Washington
Key Responsibilities:
Provide a wide range of primary care services, including preventive care, acute care, and chronic disease management.
Perform routine physical exams, health assessments, and screenings.
Diagnose and treat common illnesses, injuries, and medical conditions.
Develop personalized care plans, providing patient education and counseling on health maintenance and lifestyle choices.
Coordinate with specialists and other healthcare providers to manage complex cases and ensure comprehensive care.
Document patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
Respond to medical emergencies as needed, and work collaboratively with a supportive healthcare team.
Qualifications:
MD/DO with Board Certification or eligibility in Family Medicine.
Active Washington medical license or ability to obtain one.
Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently in a busy outpatient setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients and collaborate with staff.
Previous experience in family practice is preferred but not required.
