We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Family Medicine Physician to join their team on a locum tenens basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a free-standing clinic with a supportive team, treating patients of all ages. The role is ideal for candidates with a passion for comprehensive patient care, including wellness visits, physicals, and follow-up care.

  • Provide high-quality outpatient care to patients of all ages.
  • Conduct annual wellness visits, physicals, well-child check-ups, sick visits, and pre-op evaluations.
  • See an average of 18 patients per day (9 in the morning and 9 in the afternoon).
  • Collaborate with mid-level providers during clinic hours.
  • Perform minimal administrative duties, including documentation in eClinicalWorks (EMR).
  • APP/mid-level support available during clinic hours (8 AM–4 PM).
  • No on-call duties required.
  • The need is for a 6-month assignment or longer, pending permanent hiring.

Job Responsibilities

Provide high-quality outpatient care to patients of all ages.

Qualifications

Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
Licensure:
Active Pennsylvania state license preferred.
Candidates with IMLC in hand will be considered.
Certifications Required: ACLS and BLS (American Heart Association).
Experience:
Recent graduates welcome.
Internal Medicine candidates with experience in pediatrics and family medicine will also be considered.
DEA License: Required.

Working Hours

Schedule:
Monday – Thursday: 8 AM – 4 PM.
Friday: 8 AM – 3 PM.
12–1 PM break (30 minutes for lunch, 30 minutes for paperwork).
Estimated 20 shifts per month, with 4–5 working days per week.

Skills

Strong clinical knowledge in family medicine, including pediatric and adult care.
Proficiency in using electronic medical records (eClinicalWorks preferred).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
