We are in search of a Perm/Staff Primary Care Physician for Anderson County, South Carolina. The region is located in the Northwestern corner of the State.

Location: Anderson County, South Carolina

Job Type: Perm / Staff

Shifts: Days

Practice Details:

• Reports directly to the Medical Director.
• Educate patients on wellness, prevention and early detection by providing materials and resources to the patients and their families.
• Determine which referrals are required based upon examination and patient needs.
• Determine level of urgency of follow-up referral consultation appointments.
• Exercises final medical judgment in all issues of healthcare.
• Prescribes medical treatment and clinical drugs to patients.

Requirements:

• Medical Degree or Doctor of Medicine in Internal Medicine/Family Practice
• New Grads are also accepted
• Practice experience in an outpatient setting with HMO or managed care is helpful.
• The ability to speak Spanish is desired.
• Minimum of (2) two years of direct work experience.
  

Licensure/Certifications :

• Active State license for South Carolina
• Board certified in Primary Care/Internal Medicine specialty is required.
• Current DEA and DPS Certification of Registration.
