Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Contract Length: 3 months, possibility to extend
Shift Details: 8a-5p, 40hrs/week. 8 hour work day with 1 hour unpaid lunch.
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Work Details:
· Support Staff: Dedicated medical assistant for each provider, receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians, most clinics have an onsite pediatrician and local health care administrator they will submit timecards to.
· Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: FT. 40hrs/week.
· Patients per day: Family Physicians are expected to see up to 21 patients per day. May be less depending on cancellations, etc, but should be comfortable with higher volume and fast paced.
· Patient Population/Age: Newborns-Geriatrics. Provider should be comfortable working with all ages.
· Department Description: Ideal provider would have experience with prenatal care, woman exams and well-child visits. Community Health Center. Providers should have experience in these settings or express interest to work with vulnerable populations. They service migrants and refugees and have interpretative services available on site. Provider is not required to be bilingual, but would be a plus. OP ambulatory services, family medicine, walk-in/acute care services, chronic disease management. They will consider providers for a minimum of 3 days/week if they are local and do not require housing. They maybe caring for same day walk in patients.
· EMR: EPIC
· Special Procedures: Basic bread and butter procedures. Injections, IUD placement, minor wound care.
· Skills Required: Expected to hit ground running. Will be a 1 week ramp up with onsite orientation but will be expected to begin patient care by day 3.
Practice Setting:
• Outpatient ambulatory setting- Community Health Center
Travel Logistics:
· Specific travel client will pay for: Flight, rental car or mileage and lodging.
Requirements:
· Board Certification: Required
· License Required: Active WA license required. Will not consider non-licensed candidates
· DEA: Active WA DEA required
· Certifications Required: Will be discussed at time of credentialing. If any certs are required, provider will be responsible for obtaining. (BLS, ACLS, etc.)
Credentialing Timeframe: 2-3 weeks
Spanish or Russian speakers are a plus.
