Compensation: $205,000–$270,000 per year (estimated salary range)

Are you ready to make a real difference while maintaining a healthy work-life balance and occasionally crossing state lines (don’t worry, we’re not smuggling anything but excellent care)? We’re looking for a Family Medicine (FM) or Internal Medicine (IM) Physician to join our post-acute care team in the sunny and enchanting Las Cruces, NM, with a bit of time spent in El Paso, TX.

Whether you're fresh out of residency or a seasoned physician, if you’re board-certified or board-eligible in FM or IM, we want to meet you!

What’s in It for You?

  • Flexible Daytime Schedule: Monday through Friday. Think 3–4 days a week in Las Cruces and 1–2 days in El Paso—because variety is the spice of life!
  • Sunshine Galore: Las Cruces averages 294 sunny days a year. Forget about shoveling snow; your only winter challenge will be deciding between salsa verde or roja.
  • Cost of Living Perks: Enjoy a lower cost of living compared to big cities—more money for tacos, green chile, and weekend adventures!
  • Professional Growth: New grads are welcome! Gain invaluable experience in skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) while working alongside a supportive team.
  • Call Schedule: On-call required, but it’s manageable—so you can still binge your favorite show and make it to your kid’s soccer game.

What You’ll Do

  • Travel between SNFs in Las Cruces (3–4 days/week) and El Paso (1–2 days/week) to provide top-notch care.
  • Handle a variety of cases with a focus on patient recovery and well-being.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest quality care for your patients.
  • Keep your daytime hours flexible—because life doesn’t always fit into a 9-to-5 box.

Why Las Cruces?

  1. The Great Outdoors: From hiking in the Organ Mountains to exploring White Sands National Park, nature lovers will thrive here.
  2. Cultural Richness: Las Cruces has a vibrant blend of cultures, delicious food (hello, Hatch green chiles), and festivals that keep life exciting.
  3. Small-Town Vibes, Big-Town Perks: Enjoy a friendly community and easy access to El Paso for city-like amenities.
  4. No Snow Tires Required: Leave the winter gear behind and embrace sunny, warm weather nearly year-round.

Requirements

  • MD or DO in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible (FM or IM).
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in New Mexico and Texas.
  • Willingness to travel between Las Cruces and El Paso.
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

If you’re ready to combine a fulfilling career with a lifestyle full of sunshine, flavor, and flexible hours, apply now. This is your chance to make an impact without sacrificing your personal life—because great care starts with a happy, balanced provider.

Let’s make the Land of Enchantment even more enchanting, one patient at a time.
