Primary Care Physician
Location: Gainesville, Virginia

Position Overview:
Dogwood Medical Group, a patient-focused medical practice in Gainesville, Virginia, is seeking a dedicated Family Medicine Physician to join our team. This full-time position involves providing comprehensive primary care to adult patients (ages 18+), with a focus on routine visits and basic gynecologic care. Enjoy working in a supportive and friendly environment, complete with our beloved office dog who works full-time alongside our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality primary care services to patients aged 18 and older.
- Provide routine visits, wellness exams, and basic gynecologic care (no required procedures).
- Manage a panel of 15-18 patients per day with a focus on personalized, patient-centered care.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Emphasize preventive care and health maintenance.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain timely and accurate patient documentation in accordance with healthcare standards.
Qualifications:
- Board Certification in Family Medicine (or Board Eligible within two years of residency completion).
- Resident Grads encouraged to apply!
- Active Virginia medical license or willingness to obtain one.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A fondness for dogs, as our office dog is an integral part of our team!
