We have partnered with Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare, Inc. to locate a Medical Director of Addiction Services. Southwestern is a community-based provider of mental health and addiction services. Located in Evansville, IN, Southwestern has 15 service locations in the four-county region.
The Medical Director will provide on-site medical leadership at their facility that provides Addiction Treatment, Residential ASAM 3.5 and ASAM 3.1, as well as outpatient services. The Medical Director will medical expertise to guide policy, quality improvement initiatives, protocols, and staff training requirements related to addiction treatment services.
Requirements:
• Board certification or eligibility in Addiction Medicine, Psychiatry, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine.
• Possess or ability to obtain Indiana Medical Licensure and DEA
• Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory capacity
• Experience in addiction medicine, Medication Assisted Treatment, and general substance use disorder treatment required
• Strong clinical and leadership capability as well as interpersonal, verbal and written
communication, and problem-solving skills required.
