Exciting Opportunity for a Family Medicine Physician in Plymouth, IN

Join a dynamic and growing practice located in Plymouth, Indiana, part of the Saint Joseph Medical Group (SJMG). This facility is near the vibrant University of Notre Dame, providing a rich community and cultural experience for both professionals and families. With a strong focus on outpatient Family Medicine within a safe, supportive environment, you will be joining two physicians and a nurse practitioner dedicated to quality patient care.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assess, evaluate, and treat patients in an outpatient Family Medicine setting.
  • Collaborate with supervising physicians to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide care for patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and communicate results effectively.
  • Educate patients and their families about medical conditions and treatment options.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with regulations.
  • Participate in quality assurance and compliance audits.
  • Contribute to teaching opportunities with Family Medicine residents.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in schedule coverage and service delivery.
  • Perform other duties relevant to the effective operation of the medical practice.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • Experience working with pediatric and geriatric patients.
  • Strong knowledge of medical practices, patient care, and treatment protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Knowledge of EPIC EMR is preferred.

License and Certification Requirements:

  • Valid Indiana medical license (or willing to obtain).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or willing to obtain).
  • Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration (or willing to obtain).
  • COVID-19 vaccination required.
