Saint Joseph Physician Network (SJPN) has an excellent opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join a growing practice located in Bourbon, Indiana.

Job Description:
  • Schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or until all patients are seen.
  • Call is 1:7 (phone call only)
  • Conventional Family Medicine practice treating chronic disease management; dressing changes; sutures; biopsies; pap smears; joint injection/aspiration
  • Basic laboratory services are available and basic procedures such as skin tag and mole removal, suturing, and joint injections may be performed.
  • Treating pediatrics to geriatrics
  • Candidate will join one Nurse Practitioner
  • Average patient census per day is 18-22
  • Opportunities for teaching exist with St. Joseph Health System Family Medicine residents [clinical teaching and supervision].
  • Must adhere to the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services.
  • May be required to maintain active membership status on the medical staff of SJHS-SB and/or SJHS-Ply.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range in line with MGMA standards. Provider may submit salary expectations with presentation.

  • 27 days off per year; 7 holidays; 5 days and $3,000 for CME

Submission Requirements
  • TRULY Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Family Medicine (preferred) or Internal Medicine
  • IN license (or willing to obtain)
  • Active DEA (or willing to obtain)
  • BLS and ACLS (or willing to obtain)
  • COVID Vaccination
  • Provider will be working with all ages - must have experience working with pediatrics-geriatrics
  • EPIC EMR knowledge
