**Family Medicine opening in California - visa eligible** * Located in ***Brawley, CA*** - 2 hours from San Diego! * Full-time, permanent opening * Outpatient only * Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 hour shifts * No call & no weekends **Duties:** * Provide highest standard of outpatient medical care to patients - including examination, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation * Take responsibility for all activities - including accurate charting, good documentation of history, physical findings and assessment and treatment plans; and keep track of all seriously ill patients * Responsible for proper case management for patients with chronic conditions * Adheres to medical and administrative protocols and ethics * Consult Medical Director on problems in diagnosis or management of patients * Arrange timely consultations with specialists when needed by the patients * Participate in all staff meetings and should give input for continuing improvement of the clinic * Prescribe essential medicine to patients in connection to their treatment * Perform related duties as directed by Medical Director and Clinic Administrator * Knowledge and implementation of community-based, patient-centered medical home (PCMH) process with appropriate coordination of care * Help and facilitate Audits for meeting State and Federal regulations * Serve as preceptor for Medical students and students for Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant programs as requested * Responsible as a member of the health care team in participating in daily team meetings/huddles * Support Nursing Staff and facilitate in implementing policies, procedures, and the PCMH process. * Rotate between all the Health Clinics, as needed and/or indicated by the CEO and /or Medical Director **Compensation & benefits package:** * Salary: $300k - $330k (negotiable) * Sign On and Retention Bonus * Relocation Assistance * Malpractice * Medical, vision, & dental * Group term life & voluntary life insurance * Medical Flex Spending Account * Dependent Care reimbursement * Health Savings Account * PTO & bereavement leave * PDL/Paid Family Leave * FMLA/CFRA * Short Term & Long Term Disability * 403b Retirement Plan & 457 Executive Retirement Plan * Extended Illness Bank * Employee Assistance Program * In House Benefits * Transplant coverage
