The HSHS Medical Group is recruiting a BC/BE Primary Care Physician (FM and IM will both be considered) for our Multispecialty Care Clinic in Taylorville, IL. HSHS Medical Group works in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System. Taylorville is a growing rural community, offering a ever-evolving downtown with new restaurants and shopping experience being added frequently. Taylorville offers many outdoor activities with it's two lakes, Lakeshore Golf Course, and walkable residential neighborhoods. Enjoy rural medicine within driving distance to Springfield, IL, Chicago, IL and St. Louis, MO. This practice is well-established and building a panel would be quick, and relatively easy.
Practice Highlights
-Well established, growing practice
-100% Outpatient Practice
-Monday-Friday weekly schedule with an option of a 4 or 5 day work week
-Minimal call through 1:7 group shared call
-Dedicated support staff provide
-Support staff work 10 hour days in order to arrive prior to patient appointments starting and after patient appointments end. This allows them to assist with prepping for patients in the morning and with patient call backs as well as inbox tasks at the end of the day.
-On-site access for labs and X-rays
-EPIC EMR
Position Requirements
-Unrestrictive Illinois license prior to start
-Board Certified or Board Eligibility
Compensation & Benefits Package
-2 year base guarantee
-Sign-On bonus, housing incentive, and relocation assistance all available
-Residency stipends available for those still finishing residency
-20 days off + 6 holidays per year
-1 extra day off is earned each year of service until 10 extra days have been earned with 10 years of service, which would give a total of 30 days off + 6 holidays
-CME Reimbursement + days available per fiscal year
-Opportunities to earn productivity and quality bonuses
Pay Range: $291,195 - $351,282
Education Qualifications
- Clinical doctorate is required.
Experience Qualifications
- Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients is required.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
- Licensed physician in the state of practice is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable to their specialty.
- Must have successfully completed, or in the process of completing, an accredited residency program.
- Must be board certified or board eligible.
