Opportunity:
- 1:7 call, including some weekends
- Provide direct services through comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning and treatment
- Provide procedural services within the scope of specialty training and clinical competence
- Communicate appropriately, following confidentiality guidelines, with internal and external providers to ensure quality and continuity of care Participate in the education of health professions students assigned to site rotations
- Medical record documentation will be in compliance with policies and procedures.
- Maintain an active Pennsylvania physician license, board certification in family medicine specialty, and controlled substance registration with the Drug Enforcement Administration. Abide by the credentialing and re-credentialing policy
- Maintain participation in Medicare, Medicaid, and other third party payer programs as required by administration
- Management of chronic diseases and commonly encountered outpatient acute medical conditions
- Knowledge and competencies in understanding and collaborating with the region’s behavioral health and social service system
- Comfort providing above services to individuals with severe/persistent mental illness, substance use disorders, and housing instability
