Opportunity:
  • 1:7 call, including some weekends
  • Provide direct services through comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning and treatment
  • Provide procedural services within the scope of specialty training and clinical competence
  • Communicate appropriately, following confidentiality guidelines, with internal and external providers to ensure quality and continuity of care Participate in the education of health professions students assigned to site rotations
  • Medical record documentation will be in compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Maintain an active Pennsylvania physician license, board certification in family medicine specialty, and controlled substance registration with the Drug Enforcement Administration. Abide by the credentialing and re-credentialing policy
  • Maintain participation in Medicare, Medicaid, and other third party payer programs as required by administration
  • Management of chronic diseases and commonly encountered outpatient acute medical conditions
  • Knowledge and competencies in understanding and collaborating with the region’s behavioral health and social service system
  • Comfort providing above services to individuals with severe/persistent mental illness, substance use disorders, and housing instability
