Our client in Sussex County, NJ is in need of a Primary Care Physician for a full-time assignment!
Job details:
- Start: ASAP
- Responsibilities include providing patient medical care to all age groups in an office-based setting, delivering diagnostic and therapeutic medical services, and making sound medical assessments and treatment plans.
- Outpatient setting
- 36 clinical hours + 4 administrative hours (working schedule TBD by practice to include some on call and rotating Saturday shifts):
Disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery
- Treatment of acute illnesses
- Treatment of acute injuries
- Prescribes and administers medications, performs routine vaccinations, and provides advice regarding personal health and hygiene
- Requests necessary tests and follow-up visits and refers patients to specialists, as necessary
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
- Provides direction to both clinical and reception support staff
- Approximately 20-25 patients per day
- Remains calm and effective in high pressure and emergency situations
- EMR: Athena
Job Requirements:
- TRULY Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine - REQUIRED
- NJ license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
- DEA Verbal Confirmation (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
- CSR/CDS Certified (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
- BLS (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
- Clean malpractice - REQUIRED
- Does the provider require visa support - J1 or H1B? (note in "Additional Submission Details" field) - REQUIRED
