The Boise Veterans Affairs Medical Center seeks a BC/BE family medicine and or internal medicine physician to join our growing, collegial, and multi-disciplinary team in Boise, ID. Our primary care team is comprised of 10 outpatient clinics, with five clinics collocated in our Boise Medical Center and five stand alone community/satellite clinics. Opportunity information:

  • Provide primary care for a panel of patients primarily via in person care, with some virtual care on Blue Team at our main facility in Boise.
  • Provider is supported by an RN, an LPN/MA and a receptionist dedicated to their panel.
  • Patients are seen in 30 min appointments, 60 min for patients new to the VA.
  • Patient volume is 12 patients per 8-hour day, two of which are reserved for same day.
  • Work with six other providers (MDs, DOs, NPs, and PAs) in a clinic setting run by a Medical Director and Clinic Manager.
  • Clinic is supported by dedicated clinical pharmacist and behavioral health staff.
  • Be part of an institution that is a teaching and research facility.
