Job Description
AdventHealth Primary Care Network is seeking a board-certified family or internal medicine physician to join an existing practice in Port Orange. This physician will walk into an existing patient panel.

- Work Life Balance Schedule. Shared call. No weekend office hours

- Shared Call. Practice call only. No hospital rounding. Nurse triage support for call coverage

- Patient Census. Expect to see between 20-22 patients per day utilizing the efficiencies of EPIC, electronic medical record.

- Dedicated Admin Time. 4 hours weekly

- Clinic Support Team. Includes one dedicated medical assistant (MA), front office staff, and a practice administrator

- Clinical Utilization. You will have the opportunity to practice medicine as it should be and utilize all of your clinical skills-preventive care, chronic disease management, acute care, and office-based procedures.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Experience with or willingness to supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APRN & PA-C

- Proficiency with minor office-based procedures including, but not limited to joint injections, and minor dermatologic procedure

- Board Certification in Family or Internal Medicine (or Board Eligibility within 3 years of completing a US based residency program

- Active FL medical license (or ability to secure active, unrestricted licensure
- Active DEA license (or ability to obtain)
