Location: Southwest Region of United States (Up to 50% travel initially)

Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced National Medical Director to oversee and lead the clinical operations across our expanding network. This is a high-visibility leadership position where you will have the opportunity to shape the future of healthcare delivery, lead clinical teams, and drive the company’s growth. You will also see patients as needed, ensuring hands-on involvement in care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership: Build and mentor a best-in-class clinical team to drive operational excellence and high-quality patient care.
  • Clinical Oversight: Oversee clinical procedures, ensuring safe, effective care while managing risk. Actively engage in patient care as needed to maintain clinical leadership.
  • Growth & Innovation: Lead strategic initiatives, clinical integrations, and new business opportunities to fuel network growth and EBITDA expansion.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with executives, providers, and operations teams to deliver on our goals of quality, efficiency, and patient satisfaction.
  • Business Transformation: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, positioning Rise Health as an industry leader in value-based care.

Qualifications

  • MD/DO with Board Certification in a recognized specialty.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in a multi-site, growth-driven healthcare environment (primary care experience preferred).
  • Proven track record in value-based care, quality improvement, and operational efficiency.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and build trust at all levels.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% initially.
