**Family Medicine or Internal Medicine opening in CA**
**Located in Los Molinos**
**Full Time Position**
Group is looking for Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician.
Under general supervision of the Chief Medical Officer, the physician is responsible for quality and completeness of assigned medical services at any of the corporation clinic sites.
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES**
1) Examines, diagnosis, prescribes and administers treatment to patients
2) Supervises and directs family nurse practitioners, physician assistants and other mid-level providers
3) Oversees the performance of nursing and other support personnel
4) Reviews laboratory, x-ray findings and diagnosis other tests
5) Documentation/Completion of EHR/Medical Records and keep case histories in accordance with the corporations procedures
6) Participates in consumer education and in-service training for support personnel
7) Meets all the contractual requirements
8) Quality of care (Quality Measures) and participation in Peer Review
9) Provide virtual care services. You will speak with patients over the phone and video to assess their needs, gather important clinical history, diagnose, and provide appropriate clinical guidance or treatment.
10) Manage a panel of primary care patients and provide comprehensive care (including acute care, chronic disease management, and preventive care) to improve health outcomes and quality.
11) Act as supervising physician to nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
12) Must be able to use manual dexterity while using office equipment such as computers, laptops, keyboard, and mouse. Ability to perform multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.

14) Must be able to work assigned shifts including evening and weekend requirements per contract.
15) Ability to perform job functions independently. Ability to arrive on time to shifts, complete shifts as scheduled and maintain excellent attendance.

**PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES**
1) Must hold MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
2) Must have completed and approved internship
3) Must hold a valid California State Physician and Surgeon License
4) Must be Board Certified or Board eligible
5) Current CPR certification
6) Must be sensitive to the corporations diverse patient population
7) Demonstrate clear knowledge of Group Healths clinic structure, standards, procedures and protocols
**COMMUNICATIONS SKILLS**
1) Must have neat and legible handwriting
2) Must be able to interact with patients, vendors and co-workers courteously and calmly
3) Ability to communicate well with the public
**WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**
Works well with patients, co-worker and vendors in a generally comfortable environment office. Employees must possess the following physical requirement:
1) Must be in good health and able to lift up to 40 lbs and push up to 100 lbs (on wheels)
2) Must be able to work on feet the majority of the day without tiring
3) Must be able to hear adequately to auscultate B/PS
4) Must have vision which is adequate to read increments on tuberculin syringe accurately
5) Must have high manual dexterity and tactile sensation on fingertips
6) Must be able to reach above the shoulder level to work, bend, squat and sit, and twist/turn
7) Routinely exposed to blood borne pathogens and may be subjected to verbally and/or un behavior patients
8) Routinely exposed to contagious/infectious diseases
