The Alexandria VA Medical Center is seeking afull-time, BC/BE, Primary Care Physician to serve as a member of its Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) Team in Lafayette, LA. Job Responsibilities

Highlights of this position include:
• Competitive Starting Salary $210,000-$235,000
• Work Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm
• As appropriate, complete telehealth visits to augment patient care
• Travel may be required up to 25% to our Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC)
• Provide care to approximately 12-20 outpatients daily in an outpatient setting
• Responsible for all facets of acute patient care
• Will assist in completing quality management reviews.
• Responsible for the successful achievement of applicable Performance Measure and Monitors his/her areas of responsibility.
• Incumbent will take an active part in the peer review process and complete Physician's reviews on time

Qualifications

Additional Requirements:
• Board Certified in FM/IM
• Experience in FM/IM
• Must be computer-literate with computer skills
• Must be a U.S. Citizen. Non-Citizen candidates will be considered if a U.S. Citizen is not found
• Full and unrestricted license from any U.S. State
