JOB SPECIFICS
- OSF Medical Group in Chillicothe combines the charm of a small-town practice with the extensive resources of a large clinic, conveniently located near the vibrant metro area of Peoria, IL.
- The Physicians in this group enjoy a close relationship with the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria Med-Peds Residency, and most are involved in teaching Residents in the clinic. While teaching is not a requirement, this is an ideal opportunity for a Physician with an interest in teaching.
- Minimal call with no inpatient responsibilities. Call is triaged by the nurse call center and Physicians cover only 1 weekend every 2 months by phone.
- Established patient panel with opportunity for growth
- Team-based care model with each physician having their own roomer
- Practice in a newly built and well-equipped medical facility which includes x-ray, lab and physical therapy as well as counseling and social work.

Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
- Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine & Pediatrics. Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
- Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
- Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
- Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
