Locums – Davis, California, Primary Care Job Clinical Role:

  • Duration: 6 months-1 year
  • Providers Needed: 2
  • Assignment: Serve as an interim primary care physician
  • Full time in clinic 8a-5p
  • Setting: 100% outpatient. Location would be helping to support a large Family Medicine practice of 11 physicians and 9 APPs
  • FTE: -1.0 FTE
  • Duties: Serving as an interim PCP to Family Medicine patients, providing care for acute visits as well as chronic care management
  • Must be able to see adults
  • Routine FM clinical procedures (based on physician's skill set)
  • Must work well in team environment
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Patients per Day: 16-20
  • Additional Support: 1 assigned MA to room patients - LVN and RN staffing is available to support the department as well
  • Reason for Coverage: Assist with staffing while we recruit replacement
  • Board Certified – Required (Will take BC in Internal Medicine)
  • Active CA License – Required
