Job Summary

Novant Health is adding a new Physician to our outpatient primary care team at Monroe Family Medical. This individual can be Family Medicine or Internal Medicine and we welcome both experienced and new graduates to apply! Our team has been a key part of the Monroe community for decades and we proudly serve multiple generations of several families of our community. We are open Monday-Friday from 7:00-5:00 and you can enjoy working either a 4-day or 4 1/2-day work week.

Monroe, NC is a southern suburb of Charlotte, NC that is known to be a family friendly community in one of the highest rated public school districts of North Carolina. You can enjoy access to multiple great dining and shopping options plus several parks and greenways. You'll also be less than 45 minutes away from everything that Charlotte has to offer including: multiple sports teams, museums/theater, even more dining and shopping, and a large international airport.

Qualifications

Education:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of medicine required
  • Completion of an accredited residency program required
  • For specialty physicians - completion of an accredited fellowship program specific to medical specialty

Licensure/Certification/Registration:
  • Current MD or DO license in appropriate state
  • Board certification or eligibility
  • Current DEA license required
