SSM Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our team at Ronnie's Plaza in South St. Louis, Missouri. This position offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive healthcare services to individuals and families in a community-focused setting. Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Perform routine physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines
  • Develop treatment plans based on scientific rationale, standards of care, and professional practice guidelines
  • Prescribe and administer medications, therapies, and treatments as appropriate
  • Educate and counsel patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options
  • Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare providers as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines
  • Engage in continuous professional development and stay current with advancements in family medicine

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
  • Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine
  • Valid medical license to practice in the state of Missouri
  • Proven experience in a family medicine or primary care setting
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based medicine
  • Ability to manage a diverse patient population with a wide range of health needs
