Primary Care opening near Raleigh, NC - Position located in Creedmoor, NC - Full-time, permanent position - Schedule: M-F 8:00am-5:00pm, with rotating call - Environment: Clinic We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician to join our healthcare team in Creedmoor, NC. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients in a rural setting, addressing a wide range of medical conditions and promoting overall wellness in the community. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including history taking, physical exams, and diagnostic assessments. - Develop and implement treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions. - Perform routine and preventive care, including vaccinations, screenings, and health education. - Manage common illnesses and injuries, and coordinate care for more complex cases. - Provide care for patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics. - Foster relationships with patients and their families, understanding and addressing their unique needs. - Participate in community health initiatives and educational programs. - Build trust within the community and advocate for the healthcare needs of the population. - Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers, including specialists, nurses, and support staff. - Coordinate patient referrals and follow-up care as needed. - Utilize telemedicine and other technologies to extend care and consultation. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards. - Manage administrative tasks, including patient scheduling and billing, as required. - Provide emergency medical care for urgent health issues when necessary. - Be prepared to handle a wide range of medical emergencies in a rural setting.
