Opening for Family Medicine Physician with OB in Wisconsin Opportunity in Wausau Wisconsin Employed Opportunity Full Time Permanent Position Seeking BC/BE Family Medicine physician with OB to join faculty team in Wausau, Wisconsin Overview: Clinical: - Provide direct clinical care and oversight to residents in full scope Family Medicine Clinic - Work effectively and proficiently with other members of the extended inter-professional team - Call responsibilities approximately 1:5 call for inpatient OB, pediatric, and newborn call - No adult inpatient medicine call required Teaching: - Serve as a faculty advisor and mentor for residents - Promote and participate in educational programs of the department (continuing education, resident, student), to include didactics in areas of interest - Supervise and teach learners in both the ambulatory and inpatient pediatric and labor and delivery environment - Demonstrate commitment to scholarly activities and research in community-based health sciences About the area: Wausau is Wisconsin's place to play in the snow. Head to Granite Peak Ski Area for downhill skiing, Nine Mile Forest for cross-country skiing, and Sylvan Hill for tubing. Visit the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum, Rib Mountain State Park or the downtown River District for shopping, dining and events. Central Wisconsin has many outdoor activities for the nature lover.
