Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the primary healthcare team to provide exceptional medical care to our patients, adhering to the highest standards of internal medicine.
- Order and interpret laboratory and radiology tests, and refer patients to specialists as needed.
- Analyze reports, test results, and medical histories to accurately diagnose patient conditions and propose effective treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and treatment regimens, discussing potential side effects and ensuring up-to-date allergy information.
- Offer guidance on lifestyle and dietary changes to enhance patient health and support treatment goals.
- Uphold departmental policies, safety standards, and quality improvement initiatives, ensuring a safe and efficient practice environment.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all federal and state health information privacy regulations.
- Document patient interactions clearly and thoroughly in medical records.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Family Medicine Physician role post-residency.
- M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited U.S. medical school.
- Completion of residency at an accredited healthcare institution.
- Board certification in primary care or a related field.
- Current State Medical Practitioner License.
- Current DEA and DPS registrations for prescription writing.
- Strong collaborative spirit with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
