Locums – Santa Cruz, California, Primary Care Job
Clinical Role:

- ASAP - as soon as credentialed - 6 months to a year
- Shift times: Weekdays: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a 1 hour lunch
- Frequency: Monday – Friday, every week- no call, would also consider someone who could do only a few days/week
- Setting: Internal Medicine- will consider a strong FP but that is not ideal
- Board Certified in Geriatrics is a plus
- FTE: 1.0
- Duties: Typical IM clinic population average age 70. About half male/female with multiple comorbidities, such as diabetes, arthritis, heart disease, chf, etc
- EMR: Cerner
- Patients per Day: Other providers seeing 12-18 a day depending upon complexity (includes new patients)
- Support Staff: MA's, MOR's, APP (one in clinic) and RN assigned to clinic
- Reason for Coverage: Provider Retiring
- Board Certified – Required
- Active CA License – Required
- BLS – Required
