Our client is a multi-site community health center providing medical and health care services in western Pennsylvania.
We need a medical director who will oversee all aspects of medical care delivered by the organization's providers and clinical staff. This will include development, communication, and monitoring of clinical and quality protocols and policies as well as compliance with all local, state, and federal regulatory and legal requirements and accreditation standards.
The medical director will participate in senior management business strategy development and implementation.
The role will be approximately 75% clinical care and 25% administrative, with the Medical Director maintaining an active outpatient medical practice. Inpatient care is referred to local hospitals.
Salary based on education and experience. Generous fringe benefit package.

Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited MD or DO medical school.
- BC/BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Maintain or obtain current license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and DEA registration.
- Board certification in Family Medicine (preferred) or Internal Medicine.
- Three or more years of experience as a practicing physician required.
- Working knowledge of quality improvement, utilization review and audit principles, accreditation standards, electronic medical records, and risk management all desirable.
- Must be eligible for prescriptive authority
- Open to US citizens, permanent residents, and H1B or J-1 visa holders
- Will complete Civil Surgeon requirements when eligible
Working Hours
Monday - Friday. No evening or weekend hours.
