The Department of Family Medicine at the University of Virginia School of Medicine seeks applications for Assistant Professor – UVA Family Medicine Stoney Creek. Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work as a Family Medicine physician at our Stoney Creek practice, located in Nellysford, Virginia, a small community in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The incumbent will be responsible for direct patient care and precepting 7-8 outpatient sessions/week, including precepting, teaching and supervision of residents and medical students.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must have an MD or DO and be board-certified or board-eligible by either the American Board of Family Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians by the start date. Preference will be given to candidates who have residency or medical student teaching experience.
