Local Team Collaboration:
- Become part of a cohesive and long-standing team of 50 physicians.
- Work alongside a diverse set of prior clinical experienced professionals including hospital-based, outpatient, or post-acute like nursing homes.
Qualifications:
- Applicants must have an MD or DO and be board-certified in Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Medicine (FM) with at least three years of hospital experience.
- Candidates should hold a minimum Compact/IMLCC qualification and possess three or more active state medical licenses.
- Prior experience in telemedicine is preferred.
- Experience in post-acute or skilled nursing facility (SNF) care is also welcomed.
- Preference is given to candidates who hold a high number of state medical licenses, including Compact licensure.
- Candidates must possess excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
Practice with your Heart
Flexible Scheduling:
- This position is fully remote, allowing you to work in a virtual environment.
- It is a full-time opportunity requiring a minimum of 120 hours monthly.
- Thirty-five percent of scheduled hours will be overnight shifts from 11:00 PM to 11:00 AM.
- Weekend availability is required for this role.
- Schedules are released in advance, enabling you to plan personal commitments. Team members support one another by providing coverage during absences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex patients in post-acute care environments.
- Provide cross-coverage and engagement in cases via telemedicine.
- Be available for after-hours coverage, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Participate in monthly team meetings to discuss practice updates and changes.
- Receive comprehensive training on technology protocols, workflows, and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
