We have partnered with ICE to find a Primary Care Physician to provide medical care for immigrants at their detention center in the Houston area.
We have partnered with ICE to find a Primary Care Physician to provide medical care for immigrants at their detention center in the Houston area.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide primary care including episodic, preventive, and acute health care to adult patients.
- Conduct histories and physical examinations and prescribes medications and/or medical treatments based on best practice standards.
- Develop treatment plans in collaboration with patients; educates and advises on medical issues as needed.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of medical care and monitors progress of patients.
- Maintain medical records.
REQUIREMENTS:
- BE/BC Internal Medicine or Family Medicine provider (MD/DO)
- 2 years minimum experience
- Valid TX License
- Current DEA Certificate
HOURS:
- 40 hours
- Patient Load 8-12 Daily
- Outpatient
