Compensation: $200,000/year
Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities as the Family Medicine Physician (SUD):
Our client in Collier County, FL, is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive care within a primary care system, focusing on individuals with substance use disorders. This role includes delivering high-quality medical care, supervising nursing activities, and contributing to innovative addiction treatment approaches.
Location: Collier County, FL
Compensation: $200,000/year
Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities as the Family Medicine Physician (SUD):
- Patient Care: Elicit histories, conduct physicals, and provide comprehensive medical care, including preventive care and hospital care as needed.
- SUD Focus: Lead the SUD program with innovative approaches to addiction treatment, maintaining high standards of care.
- Collaboration: Consult with specialists as necessary and supervise nursing activities.
- Supervision: Provide education and direct assistance to medical students and residents, and participate in Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities.
- Licensure: Current Florida Medical License.
- Education: MD or DO degree with 3 years of residency in a specialty field.
- Experience: 5+ years working with patients affected by Substance Use Disorder (SUD).
- Certifications: CPR and AED certification required, with proficiency in electronic health records.
- Languages: Bilingual in Spanish or Haitian Creole is a plus!
