Primary Care Position Open in Tampa Bay Suburb Now!

Position open for practicing docs and 2025 candidates. We are not able to accept visa candidates

ESTABLISHED ORGANIZATION WITH 32 YEARS OF OPERATING HISTORY!
COMPLETE FLEXIBILITY FOR SCHEDULING YOUR OWN PATIENTS.

Client is an expanding provider in the Tampa Bay area and is looking to expand to more clinics with their value-based model; Established clinics around the areas of Seffner, New Port Richie, Riverview and Hudson, FL. More sites are opening for summer 2025! Personalized Primary Care for Senior Citizens-Be a healer, not a paperwork pusher!

We offer market-leading compensation. Our contracts involve three components: a base salary, an individual performance bonus, and a clinic performance bonus. Your compensation in the first year should approach $300k, with opportunity to exceed $400k by Year 3.

Relocation allowance also available. They prefer docs who have some managed care experience, but will also take physicians right out of residency. Looking for physicians who have ties to the Tampa area.

Innovative value-based care model that enables primary care physicians to transform the health and lives of their patients in a way traditional fee-for-service (FFS) cannot. Focus on patient outcomes rather than patient volume. Call schedule is 1:3 only for after-hour emergencies. Not for routine matters and is rotating remote call. Very low volume call for emergencies only- see notes below!

Hospital care is not required. Inpatient work is optional. The typical patient load for a full panel is 0-2 patients in hospital at a time. A typical work day is 8 AM to 5 PM, 1-hour break for lunch/ 5.5 hours of patient care and the rest is built in admin time to follow up on triage, lab work, radiology results, documentation, etc. The call is split between members of the group-after hours emergency calls only.

The difference between this client and the traditional fee for service.

This client offers:

  • Smaller panel sizes (quality) – PCP salary and bonuses are incentivized by good outcomes.
  • Emphasis on prevention/lifestyle – Care focused on clinical integration and primary care
  • High-quality medical care valued – Value-based reimbursement is innovative, affordable, and sustainable. –
  • Patients seen as frequently as needed – The panel is capped at 500 patients (compared to FFS national average of 2300 patients) and sees only 10–15 patients per day (compared to 40-60), so you can give your patients the quality time and attention they need.
