The Ysleta del Sur Pueblo ("the Pueblo") is a U.S. federally recognized Native American tribe and sovereign nation. This healthcare team is devoted to promoting wellness, improving the quality of life, and the overall well-being of the Tigua Community. Efforts include prevention and intervention services, working closely with the Tribal Council, other YDSP Departments, and external health partners. The Department of Health and Human Services provides healthcare services to address Native American health priorities through wrap-around and comprehensive services through different divisions.

Practice Information

• 100% outpatient only at one clinical location
• Federal student loan repayment through three different programs
• 5-day work-week with ½ day built in administrative time
• 18-20 patients per day
• Medical malpractice coverage through the Federal Tort Claims Act
• 40 minute/20 minute appointment times
• In-office procedures including joint injections, abscess drainage, suturing and more
