OFFICE HOURS:
- Monday to Thursday, 7:30am to 4:30pm
- Friday, 7:30am to 12:30pm
- Closed Weekends and Holidays
COMPENSATION:
- $90 to $100 per Hour, negotiable dependent upon experience
- Malpractice Insurance Provided
LOCATION:
Peoria, Arizona
COMPANY PROFILE:
This private practice has been serving pediatric patients in the greater Peoria area for more than 20 years. They currently employ 3 dedicated physicians and are seeking to add another provider to their team due to growth.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The new physician will provide comprehensive medical services for pediatric patients. The practice is open to providers with pediatric or family medicine backgrounds.
Physicians see an average of 24 patients per day, with the support of a dedicated medical assistant.
Specific duties of the role include, but are not limited to:
- well child exams
- order diagnostic tests
- prescribe medication
- assess acute needs and chronic conditions
- review and sign off on laboratory and radiology results
- initiate specialist referrals
- communicate with specialty providers when needed
The practice utilizes the eClinicalWorks EHR.
On-call responsibilities are very minimal, flexibly scheduled, and consist of low-volume phone triage only.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Arizona medical license
- DEA
- Board Certified, Pediatrics or Family Medicine
