Job Details:

• Setting: Outpatient and clinic
• Start date: As soon as credentialing is complete
• Schedule: 10-hour days - 8:00 am-6:00 pm or 10:00 am to 8:00 pm (open to full-time and part-time schedules)
• Daily patient census: 18
• Must be willing and able to perform common office-based, outpatient surgical procedures (i.e. ambulatory surgery, stitches/staples, superficial burn treatment, biopsies, etc.)
• Procedures:
  • Common office-based, outpatient surgical procedures (i.e. ambulatory surgery, stitches/staples, superficial burn treatment, biopsies, etc.).
  • Systematic health history, a physical examination, diagnostic testing and referrals
  • Assess and formulate a plan of care related to preventative, acute, and chronic needs identified by the patient and health care team in a manner that provides continuity of care. It includes coordinating care with patients' primary care physicians (PCP) when identifying and identifying an available PCP when one is not currently designated.
  • Knowledge of managed healthcare systems, medical quality assurance and quality improvement, and risk management,
  • Proven excellence working in an interdisciplinary collaborative team environment.
    
• Patient population: All ages, newborn to geriatric.
  
• EMR: EPIC

Job Requirements:

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  
• MI licensing (in hand or in process)
  
• DEA Verbal Confirmation (or willing to obtain)
  
• CSR/CDS (or willing to obtain)
