- Additional Info: DUTIES: - Clinically supervise the direct and indirect delivery of medical care and provide medical liaison to other center physicians and outside agencies. - Administratively supervise primary care physicians regarding scheduling, coverage, performance evaluation, etc. - Serve as a center physician providing direct and indirect medical services. - Privileged to assess/diagnose/treat adults and children for acute and chronic care. - Assist in the recruitment and orientation of primary care physicians, NPs, and PAs as necessary. - Participate in training and quality improvement activities of the organization - Engage in daily contact with primary care providers. REQUIRED: - 10 year of experience - Must be licensed in good standing by the RI Department of Health as an MD/DO. - Must possess a current Rhode Island and Federal Controlled Substance Certificate. Authority to prescribe Buprenorphine/Suboxone preferred. - Must be board certified by the American Board of Family Practice.
