Primary Care Physician Opportunity in Lake Hopatcong, NJ

Consensus Health is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Primary Care Physician to join our dynamic team in the beautiful community of Lake Hopatcong, NJ. Experience a supportive multi-specialty group practice dedicated to delivering quality healthcare in a welcoming environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages in an office setting.
• Deliver diagnostic and therapeutic services while ensuring sound medical assessments and treatment plans.
• Work a mixture of 36 clinical hours and 4 administrative hours each week, including some on-call and rotating Saturday shifts.
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries.
• Prescribe medications and administer routine vaccinations.
• Conduct necessary tests and schedule follow-up visits, referring patients to specialists as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and E/M coding.
• Guide clinical and reception support staff.
• Manage an average of 20-25 patients per day.
• Complete miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
• Achieve credentialing and privileging upon hire and during re-credentialing.

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible (within 5 years) or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Strong computer skills with prior electronic medical record (EMR) experience.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and community members.
• Ability to perform patient treatment for a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries.
• Remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Clean malpractice history.
• New Jersey medical license (or willingness to obtain).
• DEA certification (or willingness to obtain).
• CSR/CDS certification (or willingness to obtain).
• BLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
