Job Title: Family Practice Physician
Specialty: Family Practice
Start Date: 07/2024
Contract Length: 3 months, possibility to extend
Shift Details: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 40 hours/week (8-hour workday with a 1-hour unpaid lunch)
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Work Details:
Support Staff: Each provider will have a dedicated medical assistant, receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians, onsite pediatrician, and a local healthcare administrator for timecard submissions.
Amount of Coverage Needed: Full-time, 40 hours/week.
Patients per Day: Up to 21 patients per day. Must be comfortable with a high-volume and fast-paced environment.
Patient Population/Age: Newborns to geriatrics. Must be comfortable working with all age groups.
Department Description: Community Health Center catering to migrants and refugees. Interpretative services are available onsite. Experience in community health settings or an interest in working with vulnerable populations is required. Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required.
EMR: EPIC
Special Procedures: Basic procedures including injections, IUD placement, and minor wound care.
Skills Required: Must be able to start patient care by day 3 after a 1-week ramp-up with onsite orientation.

Board Certification: Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE)
License Required: Active Washington (WA) license required. Non-licensed candidates will not be considered.
DEA: Active WA DEA required.
Certifications: Will be discussed during credentialing. Provider is responsible for obtaining any required certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS).
Minimum Experience: Must have a clean background with no malpractice history.
