- Clinical Role:

- This individual will care for patients of all ages in an outpatient clinic setting staffed with 4 full-time RNs (no MAs)
- LOW patient volume. With 30-minute and 1-hour appointment times, our Physicians have the time to genuinely care for patients, which means improved compliance, better care coordination, healthier patients, and happier providers
- Focused on clinical outcome and preventative care
- More time for charting and the limited administrative duties throughout the day, with nothing to take home at night
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, NO late clinics/nights, NO weekends, No call, and NO burnout
- Physicians supported by RNs
- Provider to oversee 1 Advanced Practice Provider, with support and additional oversight from a Physician Lead
- Faith-based organization
- Provides medical patient care by interviewing, examining, and treating clinical patients in order to meet their needs
- Educates patients on wellness, prevention, and early detection by providing materials and resources to the patients
- Determines which referrals are required based on examination and patient needs
- Determines level of urgency of follow-up, referral/consultation appointments
- Exercises final medical judgment in all issues of health care
- Prescribes medical treatment and clinical drugs to patients
- Orders studies, test, and ancillary services
- Documents all services in patient electronic medical record
- Reviews on a regular basis long term cases that require ongoing medical attention
- Consults with Physician Lead, Director of Medicine, and other professionals on staff as needed regarding patient care, assessment, and educational issues
- Participates in quality improvement, management, continuing education, and other patient care programs established by [Register to View] On-Site
- Assists as needed in the resolution of complaints, requests, and inquiries from patients
- Assists in the development, production, and presentation of medical education, material, lectures, and mixed media presentations for patient and medical staff
- Maintains confidentiality of all patient information according to federal guidelines and regulations
- May be assigned to multiple clinic sites as mutually agreed upon with CMO and Director of Medicine
- Knowledge of and ability to apply professional medical principles, procedures, and techniques
- Thorough knowledge of pharmacological agents used in patient treatment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills along with proper telephone etiquette
- Performs in a tactful and professional manner
- While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to use hands to grasp, handle, or feel; talk; and hear
- The team member is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch
- May frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds with occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds
- EMR: Eclinicalworks and Elation
- Clean malpractice is highly preferred
- 2+ years of direct work experience is preferred, but client will also consider new graduate candidates who are TRULY Board Eligible, within 5 years of eligibility
